The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Interior Designer (Concept or CAD) to join our growing team.

Play a key role in shaping Sydney's culture with our signature whimsy and eclecticism in our latest dining precinct project.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Sketchup or AutoCad (must have) 
• Illustrator, CDC, DA or CC experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a constantly changing industry
• Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently and professionally interact with clients, contractors, consultants, engineers and suppliers
• Ability to work confidently and autonomously within our team
• Original and innovative ideas for new projects, within the specified project budget

Tasks and Responsibilities

As an Interior Designer (Concept) with a focus on Concept Design and Design Resolution, your role will involve:

• Identifying and addressing the client’s needs according to the brief
• Creative and practical design solutions
• Innovative use of material palette
• Design solutions realistic to budget
• Meeting AS Standards and BCA/NCC Codes
• Keep up to date with current trends and styles

As an Interior Designer (CAD) your role will involve:

• Produce Documentation Package for Construction Issue
• Design building services in Reflected Ceiling Plan, Electrical Plan, Hydraulic Plan
• Work with Consultants and Engineers to make compliance amendments to Documentation Package
• Liaise with Council and Certifiers to lodge Approvals (DA, CC, CDC)
